The body’s “core” is made up of deep-layer abdominal muscles which surround the spine, providing structural stability to the torso and back. Jay Lally’s Core Stability Training Program, offered exclusively at One Body Wellness Center, strengthens these muscles, resulting in a more functional body that is leaner, stronger and healthier. You’ll also gain improved joint function, flexibility, mobility and most important – a straighter, more rigid posture that is less susceptible to pain and injury.

The Exercises
Every Jay Lally Core Stability Training Session is customized to your unique goals and current fitness levels. Exercises range from a series of simple controlled movements using the body’s own weight as resistance for beginners to the incorporation of dumbbells and sophisticated exercises for the intermediate or fitness experts. And because Jay Lally will constantly introduce new exercises, you’ll never outgrow the workout or be bored.

Kids Fitness Training: “A Youth Fitness Program That Works”
Specifically created for youth ages 3-15 the One Body Kids Fitness Program teaches techniques that empower kids to improve their diet, reduce weight, tone muscles, and improve focus and self-discipline. The program is also beneficial in obesity intervention, addressing attention deficit, and in improving coordination and overall athletic ability and enhancing the competitive edge for individual and team sports.

Featuring a mix of core stability exercises, cardiovascular fitness, flexibility exercises and information on proper nutrition, the program also discusses stress, manners, the importance of maintaining good grades, and more.

By making each session unique, Jay Lally’s Kids Fitness Program is never boring, and the mix of exercises will leave youth energized, while allowing them productive ways to burn-off excess energy that results from the sedentary school, television and video game lifestyle that many have established by default.

The Typical Class
The typical one-hour class begins with stretching for warm-up; then each participant is instructed on proper technique and guided through a series of ever-changing exercises that include balance exercises, abdominal training, push-ups, rope-jumping, stability ball and core training exercises. The ever-changing sequence maximizes results without the boredom of repetitive routines, found in such other programs as karate.

Senior Fitness
A Core Stability Fitness program specifically designed to help Seniors improve muscle tone and strength; improve balance and prevent falls; and reduce the progression of bone density loss. This program helps tone the muscles used in everyday life for such tasks as lifting groceries, getting in/out of the car, sitting, standing, walking and reaching for objects.
